1. Design Brief
Collation of requirements and ideas for the design. Mood board images and functional requirements discussed.
2. Concept Sketching
Preliminary, loose visual representations of the design ideas. Overall appearance and styling options and details considered.
3. Feasibility Evaluation
Development of the sketches into a considered CAD model design with overall feasibility reviewed. Complex parts preliminary reviewed for possible manufacturing methods.
4. Presentation Rendering
Keyshot renders produced demonstrating the depth and detail of the product on its own and in situ. Intended design for the final product shown and product details highlighted.
5. Mechanical & Electrical Development
A detailed CAD and electronic design process with selection and refinement of all design
details. All individual components considered, and manufacturing methods preliminarily assigned. The product is defined, functionality and characteristics are confirmed.
6. Prototyping
To communicate and verify the final product design and function, the models facilitate evaluation and resolve performance/visual details.
7. Pre-Production Evaluation & Testing
Detailed drawings and document produced removing any ambiguity on function, design, manufacture and assembly. Product design frozen and baseline product confirmed.
8. Engineering Drawings & Documentation
To communicate and verify the final product design and function, the models facilitate evaluation and resolve performance/visual details.
9. Qualification
Validation testing to ensure the product meets all required requirements performance, internally or externally validated.
10. Manufacture
British manufacturing with closely controlled processes, all products internally validated to ensure consistently high quality products are produced.
