Ice*lighting - design in light
Ice*lighting™ is the amazing, fully automated, feature lighting system from Beadlight®.
The range of lighting covers everything from single pixel products, to low definition products, to the new “mmd range” (medium to high resolution) to HD (high definition) products. They all share the beauty of the unique patented Beadlight® diffusion system and the ice*lighting™ visual effects engine to create single or multiple arrays of visually appealing feature lighting incorporating moving textures, flowing colours and animations. All products in the range are designed to work with one another to bring designers’ unique light creations to life.
Recent innovation brings internet enabled media uploads and remote diagnostics to provide peace of mind to installer and customer alike.
Ice*lighting™ is controlled by DMX through a very efficient process. Typically up to 384 individual pixels can be controlled though the use of only 8 channels. On display digital storage can hold and playback up to 10,000 animated sequences, optionally securely accessed from the internet.
The ice*lighting™ range provides designers with the tools to create lighting features consisting of individual pixels through to units of hundreds of pixels all utilising the same technologies.
Ice*lighting™ choices:
mmd – multi modular design. The latest in feature installation lighting. Complete with the Beadlight® diffusion system and coming as standard or new optional mirror version.
ice*lighting™ (low definition). Products containing, typically, 1 – 5 pixels
ice*lighting™ HD (high definition) The original high definition product range
Project / bespoke requirements and Signage
Ice*lighting™ across the range is controlled by DMX through an Automated Control Unit (ACU). Each ACU can control up to 384 pixels and store up to 10,000 sequences regardless of the mix or number of products. There is no requirement for PC control or media server.
The unique Beadlight® diffusion system creates light which is pleasing to look at over short and long distances. The effect is to create millions of point sources of light eliminating the glare from undiffused LEDs as well as eliminating pixelisation within a single fixture.
Manufactured to Beadlight’s® ISO9001.2000 quality management system, these stylish and robust products are designed for indoor or outdoor use (up to IP65). Bespoke solutions are facilitated through the Beadlight® design team who are on hand to support designers in their projects.
